Athlete check-in for track meets

Check-in that keeps pace with the meet.

Check-in starts the moment an event is called. A volunteer looks up each bib and confirms the athlete on screen. Locking the event prints a scratch list and check-in details for each heat.

How it works

  1. Load the heat sheet

TrackCheck imports it from your meet management software, the same export your timing crew already makes. Every athlete, event, heat and lane is in place before the first call.

  2. Check in by bib number

Type the bib on the keypad, press Enter, and the athlete's name, team and event details come up large on screen. TrackCheck confirms they're in an event that's actually checking in, and flags it if they've shown up early or late.

  3. Lock the event, hand off the scratches

Locking is a deliberate step, made once your staff decide the field is set. A scratch list is printed, and every heat gets its own check-in details, so heats go to the line with exactly who checked in.

What changes on meet day

Shorter lines
A lookup takes a few seconds, not a search down a paper list.
Works with a lost bib
Can't read the number? Search by name and keep the line moving.
Keeps working without signal
Check-in runs with no connection at all and catches up when signal returns.
Easy for any volunteer
The number pad and the Enter key cover almost everything. New volunteers pick it up in minutes.
Relays and rounds
Enter any leg's bib to bring up the whole squad. Prelims and finals check in separately.
A record of every check-in
Who checked in, when, and when each event closed, if a scratch is ever questioned.

We bring the station

A laptop, keypad and printers, packed to set up at your staging area.

We get it running and show your volunteers how to use it.
